I draw my inspiration from nature. The conceptual theme of dereliction combined with nature’s beauty, organic forms and simplicity portrays through my hand crafted silver jewellery. I experiment with various surface treatments and allow the natural chemical processes to take place on the pieces as time goes by.  

 

As a child traveling and living an expat life with my parents, I have encountered many various cultures and religions. Inspiration from Africa and Asia’s culture shines throughout my work as well as my love and respect for nature. I completed a BA fine art (Jewellery and Metal Technique) at Stellenbosch University in 2012, after which I completed a further 3 months intensive contemporary jewellery course in Florance Italy at Alchamia: Contemporay Jewellery School.

 

I am currently based in Cape Town working on my unique jewellery collection with a contemporary influence as well as exhibiting at various Contemporary Jewellery Exhibitions.
